C.H.A. Animal Shelter
CHA Animal Shelter is a 501C(3) nonprofit animal shelter in northeast Columbus, Ohio. CHA is funded solely by donations from adoption fees, donations from the public and our own fundraising efforts.
Our mission is to serve the people and animals of Central Ohio by providing safe, temporary shelter and care for abandoned or otherwise homeless cats and dogs, and to reduce pet overpopulation by means of spay and neuter, education and community outreach, and we have been doing so since 1975.

Columbus Dog Connection
Columbus Dog Connection is a 501c3, limited admission dog and cat rescue organization, formed in 1998. We are a network of dog enthusiasts who rescue all breeds of dogs and cats. Our pooches are rescued from abandonment/abuse situations and we assist animal control/humane societies by taking dogs scheduled for euthanasia. Every dog that leaves our care is spayed/neutered, including 8 week old pups. We believe that allowing a pup to leave our care not spayed/neutered would perpetuate the problem we work so hard to overcome every day.
Our mission: To rescue abandoned dogs, promote all rescues & shelters in Ohio and be in dogged pursuit of saving every adoptable dog until dogs/cats are no longer euthanized for lack of space.
